How to Enable AI Studio in GoHighLevel
GHL just launched a vibe coding tool built into the CRM. Build websites, funnels, and apps by describing what you want. Clone any site from a URL. Free during the Labs phase.
AI Studio is GoHighLevel's built-in AI builder. Instead of dragging and dropping elements onto a blank page, you describe what you want and it builds it. Need a landing page for a roofing company? Just say that. Want to clone a competitor's site? Paste the URL. It handles layout, content, images, and structure in one shot.
The real power is that it's inside the CRM. Forms connect directly to your contacts and workflows. Calendars pull from your existing booking setup. You're not building a standalone page and then trying to wire it into your system. It's already there.
Enable AI Studio in Labs
In your GoHighLevel sub-account, go to Settings > Labs. Scroll down until you see AI Studio and toggle it on.
This is a Labs feature, which means it's free during this phase. No hosting charges, no token costs. After the full launch, there will be a free tier with transparent pricing for anything beyond the included limits.
Open AI Studio
Once enabled, AI Studio (Beta) appears in the left sidebar of your sub-account. Click it to open the project dashboard where you can create new projects, reopen existing ones, or clone and share them.
Start a new project
You have three ways to start:
- Describe it - "Build a landing page for a roofing company" or "Create a booking page for a dental clinic"
- Clone from a URL - Paste any website URL and AI Studio recreates the structure and style
- Upload a screenshot - Use an image as design direction
If your prompt is broad, AI Studio asks follow-up questions before building. You don't need a perfect prompt to get started.
Refine through conversation
After the first version generates, keep talking to it. Type what you want changed:
- "Change the headline"
- "Add a testimonials section below the hero"
- "Make this look more modern"
- "Add a contact form"
- "Rewrite this section in Spanish"
Every change creates a restore point, so you can go back to any earlier version if you don't like a later edit.
Connect forms
AI Studio creates the form layout on the page, but submissions don't save automatically. You need to connect the form to your CRM.
Click Connect to CRM to wire it up. Once connected:
- Form submissions create contacts in your sub-account
- Submissions appear in Contacts and Sites > Forms > Submissions
- You can trigger workflows from form submission events
Until you connect the form, it looks right on the page but doesn't actually save responses. This is the one step people miss.
Connect a calendar
For booking pages, AI Studio pulls calendars from your existing sub-account setup. Ask it to add an appointment booking section and it'll let you select which calendar to connect.
The calendar itself stays in your sub-account. AI Studio just places it on the page and connects it.
Publish
- Preview across devices to check how it looks
- Connect a domain in Domain Hub if you want a custom URL
- Hit publish
After publishing, you can keep editing. Changes stay in draft until you publish again, so you won't break the live page while you're tweaking things.
